About

I’m a lifelong artist and musician based in New York’s Hudson Valley. On my own time, I play in a band, draw, read, and go on walks to relax and recharge. I’m married to my awesome wife, who is Dutch, and through her our daughter has the opportunity to study in the Netherlands. That experience has deepened our family’s sense of place in the world.

Personally and professionally, I gravitate toward projects that feel purposeful and connected to socially resonant ideas with real human weight. For me, this is fun. Even when the subject is serious, I find deep satisfaction in work that informs, includes, questions, and helps people feel more connected to the world around them.

I also love the process of listening closely, understanding what someone is reaching for, and helping shape it into something clear and tangible. To me, design is at its best when it brings understanding into the room and when the finished work truly belongs to the moment and to the people it was made for.
