About Lyle
Ah, the warmth of good design on a cold winter’s eve…
Lyle Booth took his first steps in order to go find a pencil. Some time later, he was awarded the Haney Medal by the School Art League of New York City, for his illustrations while attending the Bronx High School of Science.
He received his BS in Graphic Design from Hofstra University with a minor in Film, and embarked on a sojourn in advertising. After taking professional courses in 3D Modeling and Animation at The School of Visual Arts, he was accepted into their 3D Graphics Masters Program.
As fate would have it, however, that same week Lyle was offered a job at Sesame Workshop’s Interactive Division to animate Muppets. In his 10 years at Sesame, he earned the title of Senior Lead Artist and Creative Designer, crafting award-winning educational computer games for children.
Lyle then turned to TV, film and print, joining United Scenic Artists Local 829 in New York City as a Graphic Designer. Starting off at Law & Order Criminal Intent, he has gone on to create graphics for over 50 productions and globally recognized properties.
